Tove Lo is coming to Shanghai tomorrow

The 'Habits (Stay High)' singer will be at Bandai Namco Shanghai Base

'You’re gone and I gotta stay high all the time, to keep you off my mind,' No, this isn't a late-night drunk text from an ex, it's the hook from the 2013 smash hit 'Habits (Stay High)' by never-say-sorry Swedish pop star Tove Lo (pronounced TOO-veh loo, in case you were struggling).

The LA-based singer, who's success seemingly came 'fucking overnight' as she told Time Out New York last year, was dubbed 'Sweden's darkest pop export' by Rolling Stone and will be at Bandai Namco Shanghai Base tomorrow night (Thu 17), showcasing her blend of '80s pop, EDM-ish beats and raw, revealing lyrics.

Having spent most of her early career predominantly behind the scenes as a songwriter (credits include Ellie Goulding’s 'Love Me Like You Do'), Lo released her debut solo album Queen of the Clouds in 2014, following it up with Lady Wood (yes, that means what you think it means) in 2016 and Blue Lips a year later. She has since toured with the likes of Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Coldplay, going on to become arguably 'the world's most brutally honest pop star,' according to Out. That's quite the CV...
