Want to eat dogs to help dogs? Hear us out... This Saturday (May 12), The Rooster is holding a charity hot dog eating contest with all of the proceeds going to Furry Friends’ Rose’s Rescue project.

100RMB gets entrants ten hot dogs and a pint of Zeffer cider to help wash them down, and whoever finishes their hot dogs first will win a case of Zeffer as well as 300 Rooster bucks – money that can be redeemed at the bar, not some weird chicken currency...

Second place wins two free-flow brunch passes worth 300RMB, while third place will bag two burgers and two ciders worth 240RMB. The contest starts at 5pm and to enter, send a message to Chase (WeChat: ChaseLW9) or contact The Rooster's official account: roosterchina.

Bring along your own dogs (real not hot) as there will be a 'barkyard' from 3-5pm with free healthy dog treats from Pawsome. Furry Friends will also be on site peddling some cool doggy swag. For the humans, there'll be 35RMB Brew Dog beers, 40RMB Zeffer ciders and free hot dogs (3-5pm). Can't forget the humans...
