Built in 1924, Wukang Mansion (formerly Normandie Apartments or International Savings Society Apartments) is a protected historic building in the former French Concession region. It was the first apartment building designed by famed Hungarian-Slovak architect Hudec in Shanghai and had since been the residence of many celebrities. The building has undergone multiple restorative projects, most recently in 2019, and was reopened on 30 Sep in the same year to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of China.
